Our client, a specialist in the rail industry, is seeking a PTS Project Manager on a contract basis. This role involves managing complex projects within the rail sector, including bridges, structures, civils, platforms, access points, stations, and buildings.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing rail projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinating with various engineering disciplines, including structural, geotechnical, and civil engineering
  • Managing the construction of bridges, structures, and platforms
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Providing leadership and direction to project teams
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in project management within the rail industry
  • Proficiency in managing projects involving tunnels, structures, geotechnical, civil, and bridge engineering
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification is required
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field
