Our client, a specialist in the rail industry, is seeking a PTS Project Manager on a contract basis. This role involves managing complex projects within the rail sector, including bridges, structures, civils, platforms, access points, stations, and buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing rail projects from inception to completion
- Coordinating with various engineering disciplines, including structural, geotechnical, and civil engineering
- Managing the construction of bridges, structures, and platforms
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Providing leadership and direction to project teams
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management within the rail industry
- Proficiency in managing projects involving tunnels, structures, geotechnical, civil, and bridge engineering
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification is required
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field
