12 month fixed-term contract (FTC)
Oxfordshire - 2 office days per week
c. 50,000 plus company benefits
The Company
A market leading FMCG business, based in Oxford with an international presence. This company sources and supplies products via distribution network - supplying to a number of the UK retailer multiples, as well as foodservice, wholesale and off trade.
The Role
- You will lead the project management of product launch, ensuring the creation and accuracy of master data and Bill of Material (BOM)
- Play a key role in change management activities, acting as a key operational contact for NPD funnel and concept
- The Project Manager will liaise with overseas suppliers and stakeholders, predominantly South America
- You will both lead and support supply chain projects, ensuring the planning team place orders to meet launch date
- Coordinate and negotiate on material tenders, and look for potential opportunities for value engineering across the product portfolio (UK and at source)
- The project manager will attend print runs and packaging approvals
- You will ensure that projects and BOM are updated in a timely manner, to ensure launch targets are met
The Person
- The project manager will have an in depth knowledge of supplier manufacturing (FMCG)
- A background in a project management, supply chain, operations focused food or drink supply/distribution network
- Experience dealing with a broad range of stakeholders, from commercial to finance and operations
- The project manager will be a competent user of Microsoft Excel, and experience using Anaplan would be beneficial
- Experience liaising with overseas suppliers and stakeholders would be beneficial for this position
