Job DescriptionOperations Manager to 34,000 per annum - KnowsleyA leading Hazardous Waste, Environmental Services and Industrial Services Company.Purpose and Responsibilities An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join our clients leading Hazardous Waste and Environmental Services Supplier operating throughout the UK. The successful candidate will join our clients team based in Liverpool working out of the Environmental Services Depot.As Operations Manager you will be primarily responsible for planning and managing the Environmental Services activities by assessing and prioritising enquiries and orders to ensure efficient control and deployment of available resources in conjunction with the Business Manager. As Operations Manager you will also be responsible for continually ensuring the efficient delivery of Environmental Services activities.Specific ResponsibilitiesTo ensure that all activities are maintained in line with agreed targets & fully compliant with legislation relevant to the work in hand and in line with the company's ISO systems.To identify and report on opportunities and trends in the Environmental Services operational control/analysis systems, so that the Company can effectively develop its continuous improvement programme.To manage the day-to-day activities of Supervisors and operatives under their controlTo manage effective record keeping and documentation, to include the running of stock control, activity and in-process records including timesheetsTo co-operate fully with colleagues in order to support the Company's growth.To ensure site operatives are issued with & maintain, correct equipment to carry out tasksTo ensure that all work under his/her control is carried out within the company's BMS requirements including maintenance plans, key control measures and trainingTo survey and provide costings for new and ongoing projects and opportunities across the UK and abroadPerson SpecificationYou'll also have:Be highly motivated and drivenHave outstanding people skillsUnderstanding of cost control and P&LsIT skills Excel / Word / OutlookStrong organisational leadershipAbility to lead a large teamRequired experience:Operations/Depot Management: 3 yearsWaste Management/Environmental/Industrial Services Experience: 3 YearsRequired licence or certification:A full, clean UK Driving LicenceCOTCFor more information please click APPLY.
