Seeking an experienced Site Manager / Project Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a 3-storey hotel & leisure facility, its outbuildings, new racquet courts, a swimming pool, and extensive landscaping on a 35-acre estate. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from site operations to client liaison, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining quality control. You will be responsible for budget management, contract administration, and leading the project team, including subcontractors and suppliers. Regular progress reporting and proactive risk management will be essential to the role.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
A bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in site or project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-value refurbishment projects, particularly within historic or listed buildings. Experience with JCT contracts and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
