An exciting career opportunity for a driven and aspirational recent graduate or assistant Project Manager ( PM ).
The purpose of this role:
Working with the Commercial manager the role will be commercial-based.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their working experience and knowledge to a level with no limits applied by the business. With the opportunity to PM smaller projects in their own right and gain exposure to senior-level functions. Individuals who are aspirational and driven are encouraged to apply!
The key aspects of the role will include :
Technical Skills
Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar.
Office Software: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Budget Management: Ability to assist in managing project budgets and financial tracking.
Scheduling: Competence in developing and maintaining project schedules.
Adminstrative Skills
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organization: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in work.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment and support project team members.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Personal Attributes
Proactive Attitude: A proactive approach to work, anticipating project needs and potential issues.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
Initiative: Ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Supporting Project Managers: Assisting project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects.
Documentation: Maintaining project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
Coordination: Coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Tracking Progress: Monitoring project progress and updating schedules and status reports.
Risk Management: Assisting in identifying and managing project risks and issues.
Resource Management: Helping to allocate resources and manage project resources efficiently.
Requirements for the role
A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Project Management or a related field.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Effective communication skills in order to successfully work with the project team and business stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
Strong character for dispute resolution
