Join a regional construction company known for its excellence across multiple sectors. This company, with projects ranging from GBP1M to GBP30M, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team for a major scheme in the Fareham area.

The scheme is due to produce 6,000 homes and years worth of work, along with extensive community hubs, hotel, commercial builds, schools and more.

You will be responsible for building multiple phases of work here over the next 10 plus years - future buildings include offices, schools, scientific and industrial buildings, a hotel and more commercial office space.

Details:

• Responsible for the successful delivery of buildings from the late preconstruction phase, through commencement on site, and during the construction phase
• Ensuring plans and design meet project specifications and standards.
• Engage in procurement processes, planning, and programming of works
• Lead and manage the site team, ensuring efficient and effective operations
• Ensure all health & safety protocols are strictly followed on-site
• Maintain high standards of quality assurance throughout the construction process
• Work alongside the Project Director
• Report on project progress, including production and budget, to stakeholders
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Ensure smooth handover of completed buildings to clients
• You will retain autonomy and ownership for your own buildings

The client is seeking a candidate who has strong experience bringing a construction project from the ground up to completion and handover. You will need sound technical knowledge of all phases of the build, along with strong communication and documentation skills for the client/stakeholders involved.

Ideally you will have experience with high end finishes along with heritage/listed builds as the design and look is of a traditional heritage feel.

Requirements:

• Ideally come from a main contractor background or a heritage/listed building background
• Experience on delivering high end construction projects
• Must have proven experience of managing projects from ground to hand over
• 10 plus years of experience in the industry and several as Project Manager
• A keen eye for detail, high standards and expectation for quality
• Driven and proactive attitude will be well rewarded
• Personality will take you afar in securing this position!
• MUST HAVE TWC, SMSTS, CSCS
