An exciting career opportunity for the role of Project Manager has presented itself for a market leading high-end curtain and blind contractor. They Design, Manufacture and Install their own high spec products and typically work for large commercial fit out contractors within central London.
They have over 35 years expert industry experience and boast a rich client base which includes the likes of; ISG, Overbury and projects include Netflix studios, New Google HQ Offices and BBC offices.
The Role
The role of project manager is to oversee the install of motorised curtain and blinds covering a number of projects with values of 100k - 3m in central London
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and management of site-based activities which includes planning and managing labour resource, quality management, problem resolution and delivering projects within budget
- Problem solving issues that result on site and put preventative measures in place
- Project monitoring, keeping documentation up to date and progress reporting
- All aspects of site health and safety
- Managing directly employed installers and ensure that they are adhering to the values and delivering the service that the company promotes
- Building and improving relationships with the client
- Communicating all progress to the client and internally
This role will suit a professional the possessed the following skillset/experience
- Over 3 years of Management experience ideally within the construction industry
- Practical, hands on experienced role with visits to site work
- Proven track record of managing site based operational activities and manpower
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally, at all levels to achieve mutual benefit for the company and its customers.
