Leading high technology manufacturer with a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility in North Bristol are seeking an experienced Service Products and Operations Manager who is keen to play a pivotal role within the Service Management team. You will be responsible for establishing, modelling and delivering exemplary customer service standards, setting the company apart from their competitors.

The Role:

  • The Service Products and Operations Manager will ensure exceptional and timely provision of service support to the regional teams.
  • Ensure all available forms of technology are utilised. And Continuous Improvement techniques and methodologies are implemented, enabling you to achieve excellent levels of customer support.
  • By taking ownership of the service product portfolio and drive new Service products and marketing support for the regions, you will increase revenue within the service team and ensure all targets are exceeded.
  • You will work in close collaboration with the Technical and Sales teams to maximise profitability
  • Manage all aspects of the Service portfolio including portfolio roadmap, definition of services, pricing, and service marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Ensure the current quoting facility meets the company's offering. i.e. service, process, documentations, training etc.
  • Manage the global service logistics provision including analysis of demand, making recommendations regarding stocking levels, forecasting future needs, managing repairable assets and obsolescence


The Person

  • A business and/or technical qualification would be advantageous though not essential.
  • Ideally a customer focussed delivery background, preferably with commercial responsibilities.
  • Experience managing and developing staff within a capital equipment service environment.
  • Strong influencing skills to motivate cross functional teams.
  • Open to new and innovative ways of working and suggesting new ideas and possible solutions.
