Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a green energy engineering company, that offer services ranging from design, project management, installation and maintenance, with a focus on renewable energy assets, including solar power, EV infrastructure and energy efficiency solutions. Together we are recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to work from their Cambridge site.

Responsibilities and duties

As the Quality Control Manager, you will:

• Ensure all project participants are informed and educated on the required standards.
• Monitoring overall construction performance to ensure technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.
• Inspecting completed and ongoing works to verify they meet project specifications.
• Working with stakeholders to identify approaches and methods to improve project quality.
• Promptly reporting any work that does not meet the design specification requirements.
• Liaising with clients and reporting progress to key stakeholders and colleagues with involvement in the project.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Degree qualified or equivalent in a field related to business and quality control.
• Proven experience working within quality management in the UK construction sector, particularly experience with solar PV/ BESS projects.

Personal skills

The Quality Control Manager role would suit someone who is:

• Highly organised and able to work autonomously.
• Flexible to work 5 days a week on-site in Cambridge.

Salary and benefits of the Quality Control Manager role

• Salary between 55,000 + 65,000 (depending on experience).
