Job Description: Electrical Project Manager
Salary: 65,000 per annum
Location: London (covering 3 hospitals)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee a major lighting upgrade across three hospitals in London. This permanent role involves direct collaboration with the client and covers a 3-year project split into phases. With a project value ranging between 100k and 500k, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of this crucial upgrade.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage all electrical aspects of the major lighting upgrade project across three hospitals.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
Technical Oversight:
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of lighting systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Address and resolve any technical challenges that arise during the project.
Contract Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality control measures.
- Implement and uphold health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments as necessary.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact for all electrical aspects of the project, maintaining close communication with the client and other stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings to provide progress updates and discuss any issues encountered.
- Ensure that all client requirements and specifications are met or exceeded.
Progress Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, site reports, and quality assurance documentation.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Operations Director and Managing Director.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, particularly in projects involving hospital environments or other sensitive settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, lighting installations, and project management practices.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering and health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, SSSTS/SMSTS) are preferred.
