A market leading company in the industrial decommissioning sector are seeking an experienced decommissioning management professional to help expand their operations team for projects in the EU and the Middle East regions. The successful candidate will join a world class team and help ensure a high calibre of service is continually provided to their diverse client base.

About our Client

The client has been active in the Decommissioning and Demolition sector for over 25 years with an established client base and consistent work across various markets. They are a multi-national company operating in the UK, Europe, Middle East and further afield.

They provide solutions throughout a project life cycle, from concept to decommissioning across a broad range of industrial markets including; oil & gas, infrastructure, nuclear and general industrial sectors.

Services provided include; Engineering design, commercial management and full project management of various processes involving decommissioning, demolition, dismantling, remediation

About the Role

This is position will client focused regularly site based on a variety of projects, with the following key remit:

• Consulting with the clients to develop a full understanding of their project requirements
• Work with existing engineers and project planners to produce outline and detailed decommissioning and demolition plans and oversee ongoing site decommissioning and demolition works
• Proactively managing all aspects of projects. Instilling client confidence through professionalism and care & making full use of appropriate tools to forecast, control and report on project progress
• Assist in developing best practice for project management and sharing knowledge with staff to improve project management capability generally
• Supporting operational management through project financial planning & reporting, resourcing and attention to cash flow.

About the Candidate

• Significant experience of executing decommissioning and demolition projects, preferably with knowledge in a range of industrial facilities from power stations, manufacturing, oil and gas, etc
• Relevant degree or industry qualifications is preferred
• Gained or working towards gaining chartered status
• The successful candidate will be proficient communicator, including communicating technical information effectively verbally and in writing both internally and externally.
