A rapidly growing Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a project valued at 100 Million in Central Manchester. This is an cut and carve project with some high-end finishing. This exciting Main Contractor has a diverse portfolio of projects from commercial, hospitality, and residential and have grown organically with some established relationships with exciting clients.
The Project Manager will be responsible for;
- Taking on the exciting challenge of overseeing the construction of high-value projects exceeding 80m, showcasing your ability to deliver exceptional results on a grand scale.
- Engaging in a comprehensive review process encompassing design, shop drawings, and project timelines, allowing you to actively contribute and make valuable adjustments where necessary, resulting in an optimized project outcome.
- Collaborating with the proposal team to contribute key information and insights, actively participating in compelling project presentations that effectively capture the client's vision and needs, securing successful project bids.
- Promoting a collaborative and positive working environment by leveraging existing marketing relationships with external professionals and clients, establishing strong partnerships that contribute to project success.
- Delivering concise and precise project reports that effectively communicate progress, milestones, and achievements, ensuring transparency and effective communication among project stakeholders.
- Taking a strategic lead in controlling project timelines, ensuring adherence to schedules and milestones, and leveraging your expertise to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Demonstrating your strong leadership skills by taking a lead role in presenting the project to the client, showcasing your ability to effectively articulate the project vision, achievements, and value proposition, fostering strong client relationships.
- Providing valuable expertise in buildability advice and value engineering solutions, enhancing project efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Requirements;
- Minimal 5 years as a Project Manager on high value residential projects
- Experienced in cut and carve projects is essential.
- Degree or similar in construction engineering.
- Ambition to grow and develop further into a business.
- Be a strong communicator.
