Our cleint is a leading well-established renewables company that specialises in producing Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging point installation. They are currently in need of an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee a large scale up and coming project initally looking to take someone on a contract basis (minimum 12 months with the opportunity to join on a permanent basis).

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of M&E operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Full knowledge of project drawings and specifications.
• Productivity Management: Ensure work is carried out productively and continuously, maintaining detailed site diaries.
• Team Coordination: Record attendances and ensure good working relationships with employed and subcontract labor.
• Budget Management: Place orders within budget constraints, ensuring materials are available and cost-effective.
• Safety and Compliance: Oversee the safe storage of materials and equipment, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all health and safety requirements are met.
• Technical Liaison: Make technical inquiries to suppliers and attend project progress meetings.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor adherence to project timelines and assist in the valuation process.
• Documentation: Record all changes, CVIs, and variations, providing detailed information to contract management.

Skills and Experience

• Over six years of experience as an M&E Project Manager.
• Comprehensive understanding of project drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize resource use.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act in the company's best interests at all times.
