Job Title: Freelance Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Central London
Day Rate: 350 - 450
About the Company:
Our client, a leading M&E building services contractor, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Freelance Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that has a strong reputation in the industry, particularly within the commercial fit-out sector.
About the Role:
As a Freelance Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and delivering high-profile commercial fit-out projects in Central London. The division has experienced significant growth, and you will be responsible for managing projects ranging from 2.5 million to 15 million. Reporting directly to the Group Projects Director, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of mechanical building services projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and budgets.
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in the building services or M&E contracting sector.
- Strong track record of delivering commercial fit-out projects in Central London.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
