Job Title: MEP FM/Small Works Project Manager

Position Overview:

As the MEP FM/Small Works Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) facilities management projects, as well as small works projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Plan, organize, and manage MEP facilities management and small works projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.

Client Engagement:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including subcontractors and vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality MEP services and small works projects.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.

Budget and Cost Management:

  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficient resource utilisation.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in MEP project management, with a focus on facilities management and small works projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is desirable.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
