We are currently recruiting for a Construction Programme Manager on a initial 6 month contract working 4 days per week.

This role will be hybrid based but with travel in and around Bristol as required.

GBP530 per day via umbrella company

The Role:

• Lead Capital Funded Education Construction based projects including school new builds, extension and refurbishments to ensure they deliver the right number of school places to meet the needs of children and young people with SEND.
• Continued development, coordination, and implementation of the programme
• Day to day management of x3 client side Senior Construction Project Managers
• Report to the Education Capital Board
• Ensure governance of the programme
• Progress Reporting
• Ensure delivery is consistent with PMO standards and practices
• Translation of client needs into deliverables

The ideal candidate:

• Past experience developing and leading construction projects and programmes
• Leading Teams of Project Managers
• Leading projects and programmes in an ever changing landscape
• Strong budget management including forecasting
• Understanding of construction supplier management and construction contracts
