They have a unique Internet of Things IoT product that is revolutionising how supply chains operate. Their growing pipeline of opportunities across multiple industry sectors have created an opportunity for an ambitious individual to manage the end to end customer on-boarding process. This role will suit an individual who is looking for a step-up in their career towards greater project management and customer exposure.

The role starts with supporting the sales team through the pre-sales process and then assumes ownership of the solution delivery up to the hand-over to the customer service team. This individual must be able to understand complex business operations then design and implement new processes to deliver great solutions for the customers.

Responsibilities:

* Support the sales team pre-sale by helping to define the customer proposition and end to end solution design
* Have full responsibility for the Customer on-boarding plan and its deliverables
* Plan and implement customer product and solution rollouts from sale through to hand over to customer services (this will include requirements capture, business analysis, process design and project planning)
* Manage 3rd party suppliers through the implementation process
* Manage customers through the implementation process from concept to acceptance into service
* Suggest, refine or implement processes and procedures to simplify or enhance aspects of manufacture, service or operation of the product
* Work with the customer services team to ensure projects are handed over to the in-life team effectively
* Support the leadership team with project governance (both implementation and day to day management)

Required skills and background:

* A degree in a technical or numerate subject is preferred but not mandatory
* Possess a strong interest in business - particularly supply chain or logistics
* Previous experience in managing projects for external customers
* IT familiarity; willing to learn some basic technical skills
* Strong and practical problem solving skills combined with creative thinking
* Structured and process driven approach to work
* Self-motivated and able to make informed and independent decisions
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* PC literate - Excel, Word, process flows
* Driving license preferred
