Graduate Construction Project Manager - Hotels & Leisure Refurbishment Projects
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 30K per annum


A renowned construction consultancy currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Graduate Construction Project Manager to work on a range of commercial projects nationwide. This consultancy is delivering several major schemes across all market sectors. Ideally, you should have some experience delivering projects varying in size and be able to manage various projects at any one time.

The role is client/service delivery focused with performance and dedication rewarded. You will be encouraged to progress your career through the APM professional development programme. We are looking for a Project Manager with ambition, talent, drive, and determination to progress both professionally and personally as this is a genuine long term career opportunity.

Benefits:
  • Starting Salary of 30K per annum
  • Flexible start / finish times (lots of UK wide travel involved with some overnight stays)
  • 25 working days holiday per year, plus discretionary days at Christmas, plus normal statutory holidays.

  • Life insurance scheme providing a death in service benefit of either three- or four-times pensionable salary.

The successful Project Manager will visit sites across the UK, schedule client meetings to discuss project updates, tender contracts, and engage in Contract Administration duties. You will bring with you some experience in delivering commercial Project Management services on construction projects from inception to completion and be comfortable in a client-facing role. You will work both independently and as part of a larger team.

Requirements:
  • Self-motivated, with your own transport, willing to travel nationwide, and able to work on your own initiative.
  • An RICS accredited degree and membership of, or working towards, a Construction-based subscription
  • Experience in delivering projects in the Logistics and Hotel / Leisure sectors.
  • Confident in a client-facing role and working with established internal teams.
  • Friendly and approachable can-do attitude.
