My client in Berkshire is looking to appoint a talented Local Authority TOM Programme Manager on a Contract basis.

Sitting within the Recovery Programme of the Council, this role will be accountable for leading defined programme/projects, and their associated business change activities.

About the role:

Based in Berkshire (Hybrid):

• Lead the robust definition, delivery, and handover of projects that form part the SBC Corporate Plan / Transformation Programme, incl. 'Recovery' to timescale, within costs and with full benefit realisation
• Guide delivery teams on projects to support the delivery of the Corporate Plan / Transformation Programme.
• Responsible for conducting robust evaluations throughout the project lifecycle to ensure projects align to the original business case and meet agreed milestones
• This role will be influential in delivering change that supports best practice and the delivery of the Council's recovery aims and strategic objectives in its Corporate Plan.

About you:You will have the following experiences:

• Relevant Project Management qualifications, or at least 3 years' experience managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of the impact of issuing a Section 114 notice, and the methods of recovery currently being deployed in local government.
• Ability to deploy relevant business and commercial knowledge and techniques including project and change management techniques, research methodologies, KPIs, standards.
• Local Authority experience is essential

• Salary: GBP550+ per day, inside IR35
