I am working with a client that is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join their team based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and monitor progress to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate communication between project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and third-party vendors.
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project plans.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, ensuring that action items are captured and followed up.
- Manage project risks and issues, escalating them as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the project manager in resource allocation, budget tracking, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
