Job Title: Project Manager (Power / Multi Utility)

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Salary: Circa GBP55k

Summary:

Our partner, a reputable privately owned civil engineering and multi-utility company, is seeking a Project Manager with experience in the power industry to oversee multi-utility projects.

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge in power utilities, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of power-related projects, from planning to execution and completion.
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with internal departments, external contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Risk identification and mitigation to prevent project delays.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory and client standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years as a Project Manager in the power, utilities, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in the power sector, specifically in LV services.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and multi-utility services.
  • Experience in managing projects within strict timeframes and budgets.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
