Essential Functional Skills and Experience Requirements

• Essential Skills/Experience

o Degree level qualification in Engineering equivalent professional experience.
o Substantial and proven experience in managing concurrent complex projects.
o Excellent communication skills, including liaising with commercial clients, sub-contractors & suppliers.
o Evidence of significant budget responsibility.
o Leading teams of Engineers and/or Product Designers to deliver to requirements.
o Management of sub-contractors.
o Good understanding of mechanical and electronic control systems.
o Highly competent at other MS Office applications (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint).
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

• Project Management in a consultancy environment.

• Professional project management qualification (APM / PMP).

• Managing projects under ISO9001 / ISO13485.

• Risk management to ISO 14971 or an equivalent standard.

• Familiar with CAD packages (electrical & mechanical)

• Background in product design and/or mechanical engineering

• Background in electronic and/or embedded software engineering
