Project Manager - Our Client are a global market leader in pipe coating, corrosion protection, engineering, and EPC project delivery
The Projects Manager leads, directs and is overall responsible for the management and monitoring of all assigned projects within our Client's business from concept to completion. This includes budgetary management, project planning, scheduling, implementation, operations, quality control, risk management, as well as technical and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and lead activities of project to ensure that goals, objectives and all elements of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and parameters.
- Lead the project development team for effective implementation and successful completion of projects which include overseeing the co-ordination, budgeting, scheduling, quality control and progress of the projects.
- To define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
- To develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents. Communicate to team members regarding project expectations, progress and concerns.
- Oversee the project operations and processes to ensure objectives/goals are met. Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of operations to ensure smooth progress.
- Participate in tender preparation and ensures project estimation is prepared with reasonable accuracy.
- Lead and supervise the project management team. Coaches team members towards accomplishing goals, meeting established schedules and resolving technical/operational issues.
- Preparing project timelines, schedules, monitoring and reporting on project related activities. Ensure adherence to project schedule, budget, productivity rates and established financial controls, measures project performance using appropriate system, tools and techniques.
- Review status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
- Min 10 years working experience in a similar capacity within an international setup. Oil & Gas, specifically pipe coating experience preferred.
- Strong all-round Project Management skills to include Design Management, Stakeholder Management, Tender Management, Contracts Administration and Project Delivery.
- Capable of managing multi-disciplinary works within a project including handling project planning, budget, cost control, safety and quality implementation.
- Proven experience in successful execution of medium to large scale projects.
- Significant managerial experience in overseeing projects and operations teams.
