We are currently looking for a Laboratory Operations Manager to join a leading diagnostics healthcare company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Laboratory Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Laboratory Operations Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Planning, coordinating, evaluating, and supervising all technical and operational activities and personnel in the laboratory.
2. Presenting data and information across all levels, including the lab, department, division, and corporate, and proficiently answering questions from all groups of staff, managers, and clients.
3. Recommending and endorsing test methods, including validation, documentation, and implementation of test systems.
4. Initiating and monitoring quality assurance programs for the laboratory to ensure compliance with regulations.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Laboratory Operations Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
2. Proven industry experience in clinical lab operations.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with high complexity testing in Flow Cytometry.
