We have an immediate role available for a Warehouse Operations Manager based in Spalding.

Operations Manager Job Specification

Working for a Multinational Chilled and Frozen produce specialist with a site in Spalding.

Dealing with a team of approx. 50 staff in a 24/7 Cold Storage Facility. FMCG chilled or frozen experience essential.

Experience of using a WMS ( MS Dynamics is in place ) essential and experience of change management would be an advantage.

All aspects of staff and facility management to ensure customer deliveries and requirements are met and expectations exceeded.

Key Accountabilities:

Effective performance management of team to ensure that targets are met and to ensure that the warehouse operational team are motivated and have the relevant skills, knowledge and attitude to contribute effectively to maximise accuracy and productivity.
Management of people, ensuring that team issues are resolved effectively, and decisions are consistent and in line with Company policy promoting a positive work culture.
Overseeing management of the warehouse pick and operation functions, ensuring SLA s and KPI s are met and costs are controlled.
Working closely with site management team to ensure that any issues are dealt with efficiently and service levels are maintained.
Ensuring productivity and activity is measured in line with budgetary labour costs.
Responsible for ensuring that H&S procedures are adhered to at all times including visitors and contractors.

Skills & Experience
An experienced individual who has a proven track-record of working within FMCG chilled or frozen logistics or 3PL environments.
To be commercially astute.
Comfortable leading a team in a busy enviroment, providing leadership and developing the team through strong operational skills.

Some experience of MHE PPT or LLOP with training experience an advantage.

Remuneration

This is an interim role based around GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 per annum prorata on a 40 hour week. ( GBP160 - GBP170 per day)

The role may be until 2025 and may be extended or changed with short notice.
