Contract Scotland is proud to partner with a well-regarded, multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor, specialising in industrial services, civils, and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Scheme Project Manager to oversee and deliver key infrastructure projects, including civil structural renewals across Scotland s rail network.
Key Responsibilities:- Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Leadership: Provide guidance and motivation to site staff across multiple live projects.
- Project Management: Manage projects from initial design to final handover, ensuring deadlines and client specifications are met.
- Procurement & Productivity: Implement and manage procurement schedules and track productivity.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Value Engineering: Lead design improvements to enhance project outcomes.
- Reporting & Sub-contractor Management: Prepare progress reports and manage sub-contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Sub Agent, or Site Manager.
- Strong background in civil engineering, with a preference for experience in rail, structural, and heavy civil projects.
- A minimum qualification of HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
