About Our Client
This role is with a leading M&E provider of energy services and solutions in the UK and our client specializes in delivering energy-efficient and sustainable solutions to a wide range of industries, with a strong focus on public sector projects. They are renowned for their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering high-quality services within the built environment which ensures a reduction of the customers carbon footprint and they are looking for a Project Lead who can effectively managed a substantial healthcare project for them.
Role Overview
As the Project Lead, you will take on a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a high-value, major healthcare project in Telford. Your responsibility will be to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with stakeholders to achieve the project s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of the M&E part of a major healthcare project, ensuring all project phases are completed on time and within budget.
Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all members are aligned with project goals.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
Budget Control: Monitor project finances, ensuring that expenditure is controlled and financial objectives are met.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project work meets the required standards and regulations, particularly in healthcare settings.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management, including key metrics on timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Experience: Several years of experience in project management, with a strong background in managing high-value projects within the built environment and preferably within the healthcare or public sector.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage large, complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
Project Delivery: Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
Risk Management: Strong experience in identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Qualifications: A relevant degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is highly desirable.
Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards is a strong advantage.
