Project Manager - Joinery/High End Residential

We are Ignite Recruitment, partnering with a prestigious client renowned for crafting bespoke kitchens, furniture, and lifestyle products.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Project Manager to join our client s London team. The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and client expectations.

Key responsibilities include managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and resources, with support from the Design Coordinator and Technical Designers.

Duties and Responsibilities:


- Manage all aspects of projects, including technical designs, schedules, budgets, risk, quality, Health and Safety, and installations until the end of the defects/warranty period.
- Communicate project scope changes to clients, contractors, and team members, managing and agreeing on any variations.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all contractual documentation.
- Oversee formal sign-off on project deliverables and conduct supplier quality checks and site visits, including international travel.
- Collaborate with external contractors and internal resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for materials and services, resolving customer issues promptly.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, construction specialists, and clients.
- Manage Health and Safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Contribute to project cost reporting and forecasting with the commercial team.
- Perform additional tasks as needed, including estimating and administrative duties.

Desired Skills and Expertise:


- Experience in the joinery/construction industry.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of executing projects on time and on budget.
- Problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a small team setting.
- Excellent timekeeping and computer skills, proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
- Effective communication skills and thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices.
