Daniel Owen are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Resident Operations Manager within the Reading area.

Role Objectives:

  • Provide advice and information to tenants and residents.
  • Promote tenant and resident engagement.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as required.
  • Effectively manage complaints through to completion.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the department by providing efficient and accurate support.
  • Handle reactive maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution and keeping customers informed.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing queries both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage electronic data and emails, responding within 24 hours.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, ensuring a professional first point of contact.
  • Raise complaints with contractors and follow up on health and safety reports.
  • Liaise with the Estate Manager to manage orders and ensure appropriate spending.
  • Assist with large projects and provide cover when the Estate Manager is unavailable.
  • Write and contribute to monthly newsletters and re-tender contracts for best value.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong desire to learn and develop knowledge in property management.
  • Excellent soft skills to empathise and understand customer needs.
  • Proficiency in QUBE computer system and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan workloads, work unsupervised, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Willingness to participate fully in the department and undertake necessary training.
