On behalf of our client, Site Skills are seeking 1x Experienced Project Manager for an upcoming Project in South London.

Pay Rate: GBP55k

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of passive fire protection projects on construction sites. Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Site Supervision: Provide on-site supervision and leadership to a team of technicians and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards for passive fire protection installations.

Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements. Coordinate deliveries, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records of materials used on site.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all passive fire protection installations adhere to relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Address any non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders. Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Regularly communicate project status, resolve any issues or disputes, and provide timely updates on progress.

Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on site. Conduct safety meetings, implement safety training programs, and actively promote a culture of safety among the project team.

Problem Solving: Identify and address any technical, logistical, or operational challenges that arise during the project. Develop and implement effective solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.

Cost Control: Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and propose value engineering options without compromising on safety or quality standards. Track and approve project-related expenses and invoices.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and advancements in passive fire protection technologies. Identify areas for improvement in processes, procedures, and systems and implement appropriate changes.
