Are you a Project Manager with an interest in the natural environment?
(Full-time, but part-time working will be considered).
An opportunity has arisen to join the planning service in delivering an ambitious infrastructure programme required to enable the continued growth of the New Forest area. The project manager will support the programme manager in delivering a series of projects across the area including, mitigating recreational pressure on the New Forest National Park, strategic infrastructure projects across the Council, as well as working with community groups and parish councils to deliver a range other local infrastructure projects. You will also work within a team that manages the framework for awarding funds to local groups through the Community Infrastructure Levy.
Do you strive to achieve excellence in securing high quality and timely outcomes, achieved working in close partnership with a range of colleagues and organisations?
You will be involved in all aspects of delivery and contract administration across a diverse range of projects ranging from improvements of existing infrastructure to the identification, design, planning and delivery of wholly new infrastructure. These projects will be achieved through highly effective team work, in close collaboration with others, utilising your strong project management and communication skills.
You have:
A degree in programme or project management (or an equivalent vocational qualification or proven ability to learn at that level). You will be able to fulfil contract administration roles and, depending on role, be expected to demonstrate that you are able to make a wide range of decisions independently, applying best practice to problem solving.
