Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm & Fridays, 9am to 4pm. Site hours, 8am 6pm.
Project Manager required for a successful manufacturing engineering organisation who provide niche designs to their clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join a business that invests and develops in their team.
The Project Manager Role:
- Cross functional internal and external liaison with design, Bid Team, Development Team, clients, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, planning and local authorities.
- Leading the delivery team, attending handover meetings and assume control of information of projects to be delivered.
- Providing onsite leadership and ensuring good communication is maintained across the various points of liaison.
- Completing handover meetings post project completion.
- Working on lower to high value projects up to GBP1.5 million.
- Maximise projects performance, to minimise costs and maximise value, whilst ensuring deliverables are met.
- Ensuring company Safety policies are carried out.
The Successful Project Manager:
- A relevant qualification in a technical field, preferably mechanical or similar.
- Working knowledge of CAD, with the ability to read technical drawings.
- Background in manufacturing, production, construction or ex forces are highly desirable, although other similar backgrounds will be considered.
- Site management experience is a must.
- IT literate.
- Qualified knowledge of H&S on site is required, as a minimum CSCS or equivalent, further qualifications can be funded by the employer.
