A very well-established specialist haulage, warehousing and pallet services business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join their expanding business in the Norfolk region on a full time, permanent basis. If you are results oriented, ambitious, resilient and career focused, this could be the right next step as the client is actively looking to identify the right calibre of transport management professional who can step into the shoes of the current general manager within 2-3 years, as part of their succession plan.

The focus is on doing it right first time, and in working in partnership with their customer base to expand their offering through the provision of an exceptional level of customer service and the development of strategic business relationships.

You will hold International CPC, and be commercially astute (this includes P&L performance, management of credit risk) with a focus on developing strategy. You will have proven operational expertise (KPI management, client liaison) as well as being an inspiring leader. Your style will be open, honest and motivational, with the ability to identify talent, nurture it and develop future leaders. Legal compliance will play a major part of your role, with consideration for all H&S implications.
This is a great role for a dynamic, and energetic logistics professional who is keen to play a huge part in developing the future direction of the company with opportunity to progress into the site General Manager. Confidence and strength of character will be key characteristics that have led to your success to date. Salary for this opportunity is up to 50K.
