Job Title: Junior Finance Project Analyst (Permanent)
Location: Didcot
Salary: GBP24,000 - GBP27,000
I am currently partnered with a global data communications organisation located in Didcot, Oxfordshire. In order to support the continued growth of the business, they are now seeking a passionate and personable individual to join them as a Junior Project Analyst.
Within this role you will be responsible for supporting both the reporting & commercial side of the finance function within the business. successful applicants will be supporting both the accounts payable with processing invoices when required and then identifying trends and running reports.
A successful candidate will possess computer skills, including proficiency in Excel & microsoft office, along with some experience working in a professional or business environment. They should demonstrate a customer service mindset and the ability to learn new computer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting data and running reports through excel and the ERP system and
- Supporting Accounts Payable team when required during sickness & year end audit
- Supporting the commercial team with quarterly forecasting
- Liaising with key with internal & external stakeholders
- Dealing with queries effectively and in a timely matter
- Identifying trends within the business and produce P&L reports for the budget holders
Desired experience & qualifications
- One year experience in a finance/account related role
- Proficient in Excel and other computer applications such as power bi
- AAT Qualified or currently studying AAT
- Experience in a professional or business environment.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and process
