Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Manchester City Centre (with travel to client sites)
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week / Occasional weekends and evening may be required
Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Search Manchester are proud to be partnering with a well-established cleaning and security provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services. This client is looking for support on a 12 month fixed term contract. They are seeking a motivated and experienced people focused Operations Manager to manage a multi-million-pound portfolio of existing clients, ensuring service excellence across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an existing client base, conducting site audits to ensure service standards are met.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and promoting additional services.
- Review and report on KPI performance and targets for each client.
- Ensure all client sites are maintained to a high standard, managing any operational issues.
- Oversee resource planning by managing staff rotas to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Order uniforms, consumables, and other necessary materials to support site operations.
- Raise purchase orders (POs) for client accounts and monitor budgets.
- Travel to client sites as required, ensuring a hands-on approach to account management (access to a company car provided).
About You:
- Proven experience in account management, ideally within the cleaning, facilities, or service sectors.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple sites effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify and act on upselling opportunities.
- Confident in reviewing KPIs and targets to ensure clients' expectations are met.
- Proficient in resource planning, rota management, and ordering supplies.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to various client sites.
