Project Manager
We are currently looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join a leading engineering company based in the Essex area.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing diverse projects within the business, from large production lines to small table-top units. This role is highly dynamic and calls on technical, commercial, project, and management skills, as well as an amicable manner to work with a variety of specialists.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Project Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Oversee all aspects and types of projects, ensuring they meet objectives for quality, delivery, and cost.
2. Manage and resolve key project risks and issues effectively.
3. Maintain a clear understanding of the current scope of work throughout the project and manage the commercial impact of any changes.
4. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and accurate technical information transfer.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a technical or engineering field.
2. Proven industry experience in managing projects in a technical environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with project engineering, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector, with an understanding of GMP and validation principles.
