They are seeking a Project Director to oversee the divisions largest project, the delivery of an iconic five star Hotel refurbishment, with current phase at circa GBP30m. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the completion of the luxury hotel refurbishment project in West London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a high-profile project and then transition into the Head of Construction for the wider business.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a self-driven and experienced Project Director to lead the completion of the luxury hotel project in West London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a high-profile project. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project and will transition into leading operational activities for their business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Leadership:

- Oversee the completion of the Luxury hotel project, ensuring it meets programme, quality, and safety standards.

- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to maintain project alignment and satisfaction.

2. Operational Development:

- After project completion, transition to lead operational aspects of the business unit, focusing on developing a brand for refurbishment works in the hotel industry.

- Influence strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the business unit.

3. Client Engagement

- Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and build strong, lasting relationships.

- Represent the company in meetings and networking events to promote services and gain new business.

4. Business Development:

- Collaborate with business development staff to identify and pursue new opportunities within the hotel sector.

- Utilize an extensive network of contacts in central London to win new projects.

5. Team Collaboration:

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.

- Mentor and support team members in achieving project milestones and professional growth.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in project management within the hotel or luxury construction sectors.

- Strong track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent client-facing skills with a history of winning new business.

- Broad network of contacts in the hotel and quality work sectors in central London.

- Solid understanding of general business and contracting principles.
