Our client is a leading UK contractor known for delivering essential infrastructure projects across sectors, including water, health, and transportation. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in water to oversee the unpacking of early AMP8 projects under a major water framework.
Purpose of the Role - Project Manager (Water):
The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of complex water projects under a major water framework. The role involves overseeing both pre-production and production phases, ensuring health and safety, quality, customer relations, and environmental compliance are all met to a high standard.

Key Accountabilities - Project Manager (Water):
- Oversee the full lifecycle of water projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a collaborative work culture and driving performance.
- Monitor offsite and onsite activities, ensuring compliance with programme, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement modern methods of construction and lean practices to enhance efficiency.
- Proven experience leading complex infrastructure projects, ideally in the water sector.
- Strong team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience in project budget management.
- Familiarity with modern methods of construction, production thinking, and agile programme management.
- Experience with contract administration and cost forecasting.
- IT literacy and experience with BIM/digital technologies.
- Possession of relevant CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
- Minimum HNC in a relevant field (desirable).
- 5+ years of project management experience in the construction or water industry.
- Experience leading both pre-production and production project phases.
- SMSTS safety qualification and relevant CSCS card.
- Professional qualification (desirable).
- Competitive salary (GBP65,000 - GBP75,000 per annum).
