The Solar Project Manager managing various sized projects mainly across the sout of the UK, will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of commercial solar PV projects from inception to completion. This position is designed for an individual with a strong electrical background and extensive experience in managing large-scale solar installations. The role demands exceptional project management skills, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Job Description
- Manage all aspects of commercial solar PV projects, from initial client consultation through to final handover.
- Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electricians, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct site visits to oversee installation progress and ensure quality control.
- Manage client relationships, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit project reports, including financial forecasts and performance analysis.
Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

- Experience in project managing various sized Commercial Solar PV projects.
- Technical knowledge and experience of commissioning and handover of Solar Projects.
- Ability to develop project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams, including solar installation teams & electricians.
- Ability to conduct site visits and ensure quality control.
- Manage client relationships, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience preparing & submission of project reports, financial forecasts and performance analysis
- A knowledge of EV Charging/ battery systems would be advantageous also
