Project Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading construction and property consultancy based in York. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met.
  • Managing project budgets and forecasting costs.
  • Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met on site.
  • Leading a team of project managers and consultants to deliver successful projects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in project management within the construction and property industry.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as construction management, architecture or engineering.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional body such as the CIOB or RICS.
  • Strong communication, leadership and team-working skills.
  • An excellent understanding of project management methodologies such as Prince2 and Agile.

On offer for the Senior Project Manager:

  • A starting salary of 55,0000 - 60,000 depending on experience
  • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option buy or sell 5 days
  • Pension
  • Hybrid working
