We are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Control manager for our established busy and growing company based in Swindon.
The Role
- You will be responsible for overseeing the credit control process for the Group.
- This role involves managing the credit control team, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, minimising credit risk, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures to improve cash flow and reduce bad debts.
- Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
- Monitor and review outstanding debts, ensuring timely collection and minimising overdue accounts.
- Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to assess creditworthiness.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients to resolve outstanding debts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit control performance to senior management.
- Manage Credit Control's involvement in the annual financial audit.
Experience
- Proven experience in credit control, with demonstrable experience in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using credit control software and Microsoft Office applications.
