Electrical Project Manager- United Kingdom
Competitive Salary
Our client, an established consulting business, operating within the Technology sector urgently requires an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the installation of advanced technology systems in commercial buildings across Southeast UK and Europe. This contract role will require travel to various project sites, including day trips to Amsterdam and Berlin, with some work-from-home flexibility. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all technology installations, including access security systems, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and AV systems, meet statutory, quality, and schedule requirements at the site level.
Key Responsibility & Requirements:

Develop comprehensive electrical project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time, within the scope, and within the budget.

Manage the execution of electrical projects, identifying and addressing any issues and accommodate changes as needed.

Carry out regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective electrical project execution.

Oversee that all electrical activities comply with company HSE policies and procedures ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.

Prepare and maintain accurate and complete project documentation on project progress status, risks, and relevant issues ready for submission or review by senior management.

Degree/equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

6-10 years post qualification experience in a similar role with a strong electrical background.

Experience in Access Control, CCTV, Meeting Rooms, AV (digital screens and audio), Network/Wi-Fi, and Lighting Control are desirable.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

Proficiency in Electrical Project Management software & tools.

Detail-oriented and highly organised.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel when required.
