Job Title: Facilities Project Manager (Hard Services)(Temporary Contract 6 months)Location: Bolton/ RochdaleHourly Rate: GBP35 per hour (in scope of IR35 paid via umbrella)

THE ROLEThe role requirement is for a Facilities Project Manager based on a live project to oversee the install of theatre equipment for a hospital ward refurbishment near the Bolton/Rochdale area. Main duties of the role include:

  • Leadership: Act as the senior representative, making decisions and accepting responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Sub-contractor Management: Define roles, ensure sub-contractors comply with health and safety legislation.
  • Contract Negotiations: Secure favourable terms and outcomes.
  • Meetings and Reporting: Chair meetings, issue progress reports, and update project programs.
  • HESQ Compliance: Ensure health, environmental, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • System Operation: Minimise risk through proper system operation and reporting.
  • Resource Management: Optimise labour resource use.


PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • Qualifications: Relevant ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent.
  • Experience: Project management experience of overseeing the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment (M&E), preferably within the NHS or a clinical environment e.g. labs, pharmaceutical sector, and working with stakeholders and supply chains.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages (MS Project, Excel, etc.).
