Fixtures Project Manager (commercial fitout/ construction)
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000
Location: Leeds (remote working - 1 day in the office in Leeds - must be living within 1-2 hours commute from Leeds)
Hours: 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced project manager with a background in construction, commercial, retail or office fitouts, installations or fixtures and fittings or similar?

Our client is looking for a Fixtures Project Manager to join their fast paced and dynamic team. As a Project/Fixture Manager, you will take ownership of projects from start to finish, building strong customer relationships while ensuring top-quality delivery. You'll be responsible for maintaining compliance with Health & Safety standards, ensuring projects remain profitable and align with both client and company budgets. You'll also continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and exceed expectations, driving operational excellence.

Our client is looking for a candidate with proven project management experience, ideally within construction, commercial/retail fit-outs, installations, or fixture and fittings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create projects plans from the client's brief using latest floor plans, installers survey information and architects scoping documents
  • Produce feasibility cost plans
  • Work with the clients Project Quantity Surveyors to ensure costs are submitted within time frame
  • Upload equipment requirements to the system
  • Programme & phase projects in line with clients' requirements
  • Work with the installers/client to ensure all survey/costing requirements are correct
  • Request quotes to build cost plans
  • Ensure any required equipment and transport has been included
  • Produce Cost Plans and order documents for equipment
  • Attend teams call to review costs and phasing
  • Place and monitor equipment orders to ensure they meet deadlines
  • Adjust equipment orders and costs as new drawings are issued
  • Perform project administration throughout the project
  • Work with installers reports to capture any requirements
  • Complete any snagging/additional works as the project continues
  • Commercial - ensure cost plans, quotes, orders, phasing are all accurate and up to date, complete final accounts
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered to standard, on time and in budget.

Desired Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in retail/ commercial fit-out, construction, installations, or fixtures and fittings or similar required
  • Strong project management experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to pick up new systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
