Senior Project Manager based in County Down with competitive salary.

Originally starting out as a building company, they have now evolved to cover all different aspects from construction, heating installation, building maintenance and property development. One of the most well-known names across Ireland, reaching out to 30,000 properties they pride themselves in meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Offering full-service maintenance contracts to a variety of clients ranging from homes through to education, healthcare, blue light services and other public sector clients. Their senior management team have over 150 years' experience in maintenance and construction, which they are looking to add to with a Senior Project Manager role now available.
Your new role
As Senior Project Manager you will manage and be responsible for many different aspects across the business such as managing client relationships, resources for multiple contracts as well as supporting & leading the management and administration teams in effective delivery of specific contracts.
Responsibilities for this role will typically include but are not limited to

  • Ensure Event Control Screens are being maintained to ensure KPI's are being met and bettered if possible.
  • Financial budgetary and full P&L understating on the contract.
  • Attend internal monthly meetings with the Contract Manager to report on the contract to Directors.
  • Lead service delivery ensuring appropriate methods are used in conjunction with maximum operational efficiency.
  • Carry out change control procedures on projects so variations are identified and agreed.
  • Provide professional delivery of contract.
  • Manage resources for the Contract.
  • Ensure that contract attains Green KPI's wherever possible.
  • Responsibilities will vary so being innovative to react and adapt responsibly will be vital.
    What you'll need to succeed
    To succeed in this role, you will need a good understanding and knowledge of contracts, NEC in particular. You must also have relevant experience of compensation events, to include adjudication processes. Our client will also require the successful applicant to have at least 10 years' experience in the construction industry with an extensive track record at senior level. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a good team player that can work of their own initiative with strong communication to join and lead a senior team. You will possess a practical understanding of Microsoft functions from Excel, word and outlook and always open to learning and adapting new skills through your career.
