Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering large-scale residential projects? Join our team at a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor and play a pivotal role in delivering a landmark residential scheme in Reading.

Role Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled Project Managers to oversee the successful delivery of a major new build residential development in Reading. This ambitious project will involve a significant number of new homes and amenities, requiring excellent leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project from inception through to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and handover.
  • Oversee site teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely and to specification.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, project documentation, and relevant legislation.
  • Drive project performance by anticipating and mitigating potential risks and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale residential projects, ideally with a Tier 1 or similar main contractor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering) and professional certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS)
