Be part of something interesting and join our busy Energy, Utilities and Telecoms team as a Senior Project Manager. Do you want to be part of one the largest growing business units within CGI? Are you ready to play a key part in a large transformation for a high profile energy sector client?

You will be play a key role in a CRM transformation within a large business transformation programme. This is a genuine opportunity to be part of transforming a large energy sector business into a truly customer centric and digital organisation.

Your future duties and responsibilities

As a senior project manager you will lead a team of around 20, consisting of architects, 8 local developers and 8 off shore developers. You will be required to deliver projects to time, budget and quality in accordance with the contract. Motivating and leading the Project team who work in an Agile environment is a key responsibility. This will include leading daily stand ups and weekly sprints. There will be a large degree of ensuring implementations and IT integrations run smoothly. A key responsibility will be managing the client relationship and key stakeholders as well as managing the relationship with the 3rd party supplier. 

As this role has a heavy stakeholder management focus you will be required on client site 5 days a week, with occasional travel to other CGI sites. The client site is in close proximity to CGI's Leatherhead offices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role 

This role is an ideal role for an experienced IT focused Project Manager with strong core project management skills. Demonstrable experience of delivering IT focused projects to time, budget and quality is essential. You must have solid Agile environment experience and experience of working with JIRA. Experience of working on a large CRM implementation would be a nice to have but is not essential. 

Experience/ exposure to MS Dynamics projects would be nice to have as would previous experience within the energy sector. Project Management certifications like PRINCE 2 or SCRUM would be advantageous but aren't essential.

Although this role is based on client site, there may be future opportunities to work on different projects and so a flexible attitude towards travel is required.
