Job Description
My client is an expert in the development and production of carbon-ceramic materials.
What you'll be doing as their Manufacturing Project Manager:
- Project planning & Execution of small, medium, and large projects
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, engineering teams, and external suppliers to ensure smooth communication and alignment on project goals.
- Work closely with engineering, design, procurement, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets, monitor spending, and report on financial performance against projections.
- Ensure that all projects comply with industry regulations and company standards, maintaining a high level of quality in all deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and profitability for future projects.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
Need to have:
- A relevant Engineering degree.
- Candidates without these qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered.
- 5 years of experience in Automotive or similar Engineering manufacturing role.
- Recognised Project Management certification (Prince2/PMI etc)
