This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage projects across various sites, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee mechanical projects related to wastewater, sewage works, and dirty water.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including SMSTS/SSSTS.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Handle project documentation and paperwork efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the wastewater, sewage works, or dirty water sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- SMSTS/SSSTS certification is essential.
- A gold or black CSCS card is required.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Previous experience with project documentation and paperwork.
- Ability to travel to various sites as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Competitive daily rate (up to GBP275 per day, outside IR35).
- GBP25 per day food allowance.
