Senior Construction Project Manager required to deliver a GBP60M high-rise Manchester city centre office building for a leading UK building contractor as part of a larger mixed use development.
As Senior Project Manager you will work closely with the Construction Director overseeing all aspects of construction phases ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Senior Project Manager roles and responsibilities:
- Responsibility for delivery of project.
- Precon Planning
- Design inputs / value engineering
- Programme Management
- Quality Control
- Programme Management
- Client Management
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Experience of high-rise developments is essential.
- Proven experience as a construction Project Manager with a tier one building contractor.
- Strong knowledge of delivery, construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS)
